Upcoming Task Force Meetings
Housing Court Answers holds regular task force meetings in each borough for advocates from community based organizations, legal service providers and constituent services offices of elected officials to help develop ways to make the courts more accessible for people without lawyers. The meetings are open to new attendees - we only ask that you have a connection to an organization that works with people in Housing Court. For questions about upcoming meetings, call our office at 212-962-4795.

The next meeting of the Brooklyn Task Force on Housing Court will be on the Rights of Homeless NYers to Shelter with Josh Goldfein of the Legal Aid Society's Homeless Family Rights Project and Giselle Routhier of the Coalition for the Homeless. With the end of the Advantage program, what is next for thousands of New Yorkers who can't pay their rent and face imminent eviction? The meeting will be on Tuesday, May 22 at 2:30pm and will take place at the Brooklyn Housing Court, 141 Livingston Street, Room 801 (8th floor). Call the office with questions at 212-962-4795.
